Temperate Mediterranean climate

The mean annual temperature in the Ribera del Júcar is about 14 degrees, with a temperature range of about 20.5 degrees. This annual thermal regime is known as temperate climate.

The mean annual precipitation ranges between 450 and 550 mm and is very regular throughout the year, except in the period extending from June to September. Therefore, the moisture regime of the geographical area of the Ribera del Júcar is dry Mediterranean.

As a result of the combination of the thermal and moisture regimes, the climatic type of the Ribera del Júcar can be described as Temperate Mediterranean.
