The recent creation of the “Ribera del Júcar” Designation of Origin is one step forward in our vine-growers’ struggle to improve their production, adapt to the market and satisfy the most demanding palates. They have pledged their firm commitment to producing top quality wines, bottling them with the “Ribera del Júcar” D.O.

The wine-producing towns of the “Ribera del Júcar” D.O. have always defended the unique characteristics of their wines, which are the result of the land’s geographical and orographic conditions, the soil’s composition and the region’s microclimate.

Led by this firm belief, the cooperatives and wineries of the region have collaborated closely to create the “Ribera del Júcar” Designation of Origin and succeeded in the attempt.
