The contest is also aimed at contributing to the promotion of our country’s wine and at supporting and boosting the excellent work of the cooperative wineries.
The Premios Manojo 2012 National Wine Contest that is organized by Urcacyl in collaboration with Cooperativas Agro-Alimentarias de España (Agri-Food Cooperatives of Spain), and which also counts with the sponsorship of the Unión Regional de Cajas Rurales (Regional Association of Savings Banks) and of the Government of Castilla y León, along with the participation of the Town Hall of Tordesillas, is already a referent for the cooperative wineries and for the entire sector.
Urcacyl has been working in favor of Spanish and Leonese cooperativism since the year 1987, thus now, in 2012, it celebrates its twenty-fifth anniversary, moment that also coincides with the International Year of Cooperatives. Hence, this fourteenth edition of the Premios Manojo National Wine Contest is of particular significance for the world of cooperative wineries.
